So it's taken me a long time to write this comment... I've known Akil for a long time, we've had our ups and downs...cause he could be a real pain in the ass when he ready. But for the most part is ALL Love. A loyal friend, a genuine soul, a complex persona, a headstrong opinionated MAN who is a little confused on some issues- but then again who isn't. Akil is my NY Man. He came to Toronto for Caribana and represented fuh all de tru trini natty dreadlocks. I showed him a rel good time and made him feel like de tru dan he is. Akil is an all round friend. He can make you laugh, give you advice and put yuh in yuh place when yuh step out a line. What more yuh could want?
Akil is a True Nigga or Dread (Whatever U wanna call him) He was my Roomate @ Stony Brook and we had good times. How he handles himself makes him the pretty Dread he is today and a Ladies Man.
